Working with you to create and event that is Truly Yours
Q. How many weddings/events will you be working on at the same time? A. I only book one event per weekend. I want to be able to give you my full attention on your special day, not thinking about what I need to do for my next event. During the planning process, however, it is probable that I'll be working on multiple events at any given time.
Q. Will you handle all of the contracts and payments for professional services for my event? A. I will gladly work with your vendors on details and negotiation of cost, but I prefer for you to sign the vendor contracts and send payment directly to the vendor.
Q. Will you handle the invitations, including wording, ordering, addressing, mailing, and tracking RSVP's? A. Yes! Guest management is one of the options that I will be happy to do for you. Pricing depends on number of mailings to be sent and tracked.
Q. Will you take the responsibility with our vendors to convey exactly what we want? A. Yes, definitely. My belief is this, it is your wedding and should be exactly what you, as a couple, want. It needs to reflect your personalities and dreams, and I will be your advocate about what you want to your vendors, friends, and families, if necessary.
Q. What is your secret for staying calm under pressure, and how will you deal with day of disasters? A. My secret is summed up in three words - organization, organization, organization. It also helps to remember no matter how organized you are, things can still go wrong. I had to learn to let go of things I can't control and concentrate on what I can. For instance, I can't control that driver slamming on their brakes right in front of the bakery delivery van, causing the van to stop suddenly and the cake to fall into the side of it's box. Disaster? YES! Does it do anyone any good if I fly off into a panic? NO! Sending an assistant to all the bakeries in the area to get enough cake (or cupcakes) to feed your guests, however, is taking a disaster and turning it into a fun wedding story to tell your kids someday!
